The 2013 Kelowna Wine Trails Guide started filling the shelves across the city and the valley last week. In coming weeks the guides will be making their way throughout BC and Alberta as well.
Print quantities have increased over previous years with a total production of 235,000 pieces which will provide us with the volume we require to strategically insert the guides into specific spring publications of Avenue (Calgary and Edmonton magazines), and Vancouver Magazine as well as Maclean’s (special edition publication of “Canadian Wine & Country”) and a summer edition of Xtra West. In addition, close to 52,000 wine trail guides will make it into the homes of area residents so that they are aware of the fantastic wineries and local wine-experiences available to them and their out-of-town guest. Look for a copy of it in your mailbox on Friday May 10th when it will be delivered in tandem with the Kelowna Capital News.
The guides will be delivered to more Kelowna tourism stakeholders in the coming weeks but if you’re able to pick up your own supply and expedite stocking your business, please contact the Visitors’ Centre to make arrangements and ensure they have the inventory you’d like. If you would like to see it online you can find it here.
We strive to improve all of our publications every year and really appreciate your feedback. If you have comments, questions or suggestions please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (250) 861-1515 ext. 206
