Tourism Kelowna Instagram #KelownaCrush

Instagram has been growing in to a global phenomenon. Tourism Kelowna has recently launched our very own Instagram account. We are always looking at new ways to engage with our visitors. As we all know, we live in a very photogenic city and with so many of our visitors connected via smartphones, Instagram is a natural fit for engaging with our travellers. Currently there are over 70,000 photos that have been posted and tagged to #kelowna. This means that when people do a search on Instagram for Kelowna or they are looking through their friends photo streams they will see thousands of great Kelowna images.

Tourism Kelowna’s new Instagram account is launching with a contest to win tickets to see Sting when he kicks off his North American tour in Kelowna at the end of the month. We are promoting the contest on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and we are gathering pictures as you read this. Our search for a unique Kelowna hashtag (search term) settled on #KelownaCrush.
