We recently created a dynamic video to showcase Kelowna’s Farm to Table culture and community. In the first 2 weeks of its launch, the video has far-exceeded expectations with over 20,000 views from across Canada, and is being used in our advertising strategies as well as organic awareness of agri-tourism in Kelowna.
With the video and a package of story ideas and imagery, Tourism Kelowna is reaching out to a large network of influential bloggers with a non-traditional advertising strategy showcasing the businesses in the Kelowna Farm to Table program. This is part of the promotion Tourism Kelowna has been doing around the Farm to Table program that was in part funded by the Government of BC’s Buy Local program, delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC with funds coming from the BC Ministry of Agriculture. Following the notion that a picture is worth a thousand words (and that video magnifies this exponentially), the video will strengthen the awareness of the rich and extensive Farm to Table scene that we have in Kelowna.
