Brad Sieben Takes On National Role in Canada’s Tourism Industry

From Brad Sieben:

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Guests,

I wanted to reach out to all of you and let you know of some recent changes at the Hotel Eldorado as it relates to my role. I’ve recently accepted an offer from the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) to assume the role of Regional Director – Western Canada.

This decision was made after careful discussion with my partners in the Hotel Eldorado (Jim, Diana, Karlee, Kyle and Carolyn) and their endorsement of this direction. I will remain an owner and partner in the Hotel Eldorado and will continue to advise re: Business Development activities for ongoing projects.

As many of you know, I recently completed a two year term as Chair of Tourism Kelowna’s Board of Directors and continue to serve as Past Chair. I’ve truly enjoyed this experience, working to build a better tourism environment for us all to do business within. I look forward to continuing on in this pursuit, but now on a national level.

TIAC is “The Voice for Tourism in Canada” and is the only national organization representing the full cross-section of Canada’s $84.8 billion tourism industry. TIAC’s primary role is one of advocacy. As the Regional Director – Western Canada, my role will be to engage tourism businesses in Western Canada, make them aware of the advocacy work that TIAC is doing on their behalf, and bring forward their perspectives to ensure that tourism interests in the West are well represented and served in Ottawa.

I would like to thank you all for your support of the Hotel Eldorado and thank you in advance for your continued support of our business. I look forward to crossing paths with you all in the future.

Sincerely,
Brad Sieben
