Tourism Kelowna hosted Business Events Canada representative Robin Thompson for a FAM to Kelowna in late September. Robin works for the Canadian Tourism Commission and is based out of San Francisco. Her role is to sell meetings and conferences in Canada and with the new non-stop flight between San Francisco and Kelowna it was time to invite Robin back to Kelowna and show her what we have to offer. Robin spent three days in our beautiful city and visited hotels as well as many of the great off-site venues and attractions that make Kelowna so unique as a meetings destination. We look forward to continuing to build our connections in San Francisco and working with Robin again in the future.
