Tourism Kelowna’s sales team guided 11 sport event planners and four meeting planners on a first-ever Kelowna Food Tour in Vancouver.
Working with Vancouver Food Tour, we welcomed planners to ARC Restaurant in the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel before winding through four carefully selected bars and restaurants.
Planners sampled dishes and drinks with Kelowna ingredients and savoured stories from makers and mixers with Kelowna backgrounds, including Chef Ned Bell of Yew Seafood & Bar.
Kelowna Chef Stuart Klassen and Okanagan Spirits’ Rodney Goodchild joined us on tour, offering their expertise on how to create an authentic Kelowna experience.
On a fun-filled tour lasting more than five hours, our sales team gained real insight into planners’ needs and how Kelowna can better serve them.
