What does Harley-Davidson have in common with Kelowna?
It is a brand that offers people a lifestyle according to Stacey Watson of Harley-Davidson, who presented at the 2015 National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC) Sports Event Symposium April 27-30 in Milwaukee.
Chad Douglas represented Tourism Kelowna at the Symposium, completing the Branding Module at Harley-Davidson as part of the Certified Sports Event Executive (CSEE) Program.
Chad also pitched Kelowna to eight event owners, including three from endurance sports and two from ice hockey.
The NASC gives Tourism Kelowna access to an event owner directory with 1,692 entries.
