Kelowna Featured in Singapore Airlines’ Inflight Magazine

Silverkris magazine story

I am thrilled to share a significant piece of coverage for Kelowna in Singapore Airlines’ inflight magazine which ran in the June issue of the magazine, Silverkris. Written by Mike MacEacheran, the 8-page piece ran in print and online.

Mr. MacEacheran’s press trip was coordinated by Tourism Kelowna, and focused on the wine experience in Kelowna. This feature is very valuable with a print circulation of 1,550,000 and an online audience of over 40,000. Tourism Kelowna estimates that buying equivalent advertising space in the publication and its digital platform would cost almost $170,000 CDN.

We have posted Mike’s piece to the articles page of our website and we encourage you to browse through and see what writers are saying about Kelowna. Please feel free to share links to articles you enjoy in your social media or with your contacts.

We would like to thank businesses who were part of Mike’s itinerary. Our media relations program depends on the partnership we receive from tourism businesses to host travel writers and we couldn’t generate the volume of Kelowna travel articles without you.
