Kelowna Industry Training & Tradeshow Event

To kick off the peak season Tourism Kelowna is hosting an Industry Tradeshow & Training event for local attraction, activity and hospitality staff on Tuesday May 3, 2016, at the Laurel Packing House. All of Tourism Kelowna’s stakeholder front-line staff and visitors centres from the Okanagan Valley have been invited to this event.

There are three components to this event:

  1. Industry Tradeshow (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.): Tourism businesses showcase their products and experiences to the front-line staff from local accommodations, restaurants, attractions, and visitor centres. You may sign up as an exhibitor and/or attendee.
  2. Visitor Servicing and Social Media Training (11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.): Concurrent workshops will be offered for you and your front-line staff.
  3. Season Kickoff Reception (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.): All industry businesses and their staff are invited to a networking reception to kick off the peak season.

Please note, as this is the inaugural year for this event tradeshow booths are offered at special introductory pricing of $25 each and tradeshow/session/reception attendance is free this year only.
