Contest winners from Vancouver, Regina and Winnipeg are enjoying Kelowna getaways this weekend!
All eyes are on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they tour British Columbia and Yukon. Leading up to and during their tour, work is ongoing to ensure that when travellers hear of Kelowna, the Okanagan Valley, and British Columbia, they will think about planning a trip to see it for themselves.
Tourism Kelowna is generating and sharing content, images, and ideas to inspire travel to the region. Here are a couple of examples of Tourism Kelowna’s work with travel media, including researching, planning and delivering itineraries, and providing ongoing assistance to travel writers and media.
This Ideas Forum is designed to provide BC Lodging and Campground Association (BCLCA) members and guests with an inexpensive learning opportunity thanks to sponsors and suppliers. Get the answers you need to solve operational challenges, learn about managing Google listings and setting rates, and network with the sponsors, suppliers, and fellow members. This forum is where ideas are discussed; knowledge is shared and member’s questions answered!

Tourism Kelowna announced our 2017 Meetings and Conventions Sales Program last week and it includes more opportunities to network with meeting planners. After consulting with our stakeholders, we heard that you value more client interactions and that you wanted to maintain the Kelowna presence at tradeshows. Consequently the program for next year includes two new events this fall in our key markets of Vancouver and Seattle along with attendance at the major Canadian meeting planner shows.
The Meetings and Conventions Program was designed to leverage our partner’s budgets and increase opportunities for our stakeholders to attend more sales initiatives, tradeshows and events.
