Bring more tourists to your business with the 2013 Studio & Farm Tour program. The 2013 program will provide more advertising exposure than ever for participating farms, markets and artisan businesses. Not only will 50,000 guides be distributed throughout the Okanagan and way finding signage and web listings provided, but a new mobile web listing has been added to the mix.
An orientation session took place in April to officially launch the 2012 Studio & Farm Tour program. Attendees took part in a speed networking session to share what makes their business unique and discuss ideas on how best to refer visitors to each other using the new brochure. Members of the local media also attended to gather stories, take photos and conduct many interviews.
Work is underway to develop the new 2012 Studio and Farm Tour. The program is a great opportunity to increase visitation at our unique studios, artisans, and farms. Last season’s program promotion included cross referrals, articles written by media, and distribution of 80,000 brochures through our Visitor Centres on Harvey Avenue and at the Kelowna International Airport Kiosk.
